Small hardcover, 5.6 x 6.75 inches, has pictorial paper-covered boards. Illustrated endpapers have green fir trees. Illustrations in green & black and red & back are by Barbara Cooney. Introduction by Catherine Marshall. Unpaginated (32 pages). Binding tight. Book is in excellent condition with only a hint of shelf wear. There is a light indentation from a paper clip to the top of the first three pages; 5 pages have s a soft diagonal crease at the bottom corner. Pages clean and unmarked. Dust jacket has light edge and surface wear and mild age tanning at the edges. Dust jacket is price clipped. Carefully packed, shipped in a box.
