Blue cloth boards and spine with gilt lettering on the spine. Clean internals. Inner hinges are sound and not split. 76 pp 8vo. This book first considers Leonardo's general approach to anatomy, as an artist interested in the human form and later as an investigator with a fresh and unprejudiced point of view. His methods resulted in an astonishing number of discoveries in both anatomy and physiology with his drawings being called the first truly scientific illustrations in the history of anatomy. The second part of this book sums up his discoveries and deductions concerning the genitourinary system. A clean very presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket.
