About This Item
New York: Harcourt, Brace & World, 1966. Reprinted 1966 . Hardcover. Very Good/Good +. The interior of the book is crisp and clean, showing no marks and no signs of previous use. The lime-coloured cloth is fresh, with just a bit of wear at edges and corners. The dust jacket is not price-clipped, and is in Good + condition, with light edgewear overall, shallow chipping at the top of the spine, and one nick of paper missing from the bottom corner of the front panel. Still an attractive dust jacket, but with problems. The jacket is now in a protective mylar cover. Synopsis: This is the story of the four Cares children -- Theodore, Hubert, Jane, and little Edie, who ... grew up outside of Charlottesville, massachusetts, in the early 1900s," who lived adventurous lives
