Paris: Croulbois, 1785 Hard cover, 8vo., pp [4] xxxiv [2] 522 [6]. French text. Leather binding with gold lettering to spine, which has five raised bands. Condition: Very Good Minus. Covers very worn at corners. Some loss to head and tail of spine. Outer joint cracked at head and tail. Hinges firm. First few pages have dog-ear creases. Very small chip missing from the corner of one page (not affecting text). Pages browned with age. ** Pierre Bertholon (1741 - 1800) was a French priest and physicist, known for his works on electricity. He was influenced by his friend, Benjamin Franklin, and procured lightning rods for the protection of southern France. De L'Electricite du Corps Humain concerns the effect of electricity on various human maladies. . Hard Cover. Very Good Minus.
