London: London: Griffin, Bohn, & Co 1861 First Edition 12mo vii,354,8pp, 1861 Fair-Good original decorative red gilt cloth. Front hinge a little weak. Covers intact but very worn. This volume is actually an edition of William Motherwell's "Ancient and Modern Minstrelsy" without the modern, which have been substituted with more ancient ballads from various sources. Scarce Edition.
