Synopsis

The Legend of Old Befana: An Italian Christmas Story is brought to everyone by the wonderful art and storytelling of Tomie DePaola. Old Befana is an eccentric old woman who is busy with many things, and so she is never able to catch up with the Christ child.  This explains the origin of the leaving of gifts on the Feast of the Three Kings on Janaury 6th.
