About This Item

London: Puffin Books. Near Fine in Near Fine dust jacket. 2006. First Edition; First Printing. Hardcover. 0141381302 . A Near Fine Pictorial Hardback in an Identical dustjacket. I would have listed this 'As New' apart from the fact that the top 2 corners are 'bumped'. Otherwise this is a FINE, Near 'As New' FIRST EDITION, FIRST Printing with the Correct Printers Key = 1. SIGNED by the Author "To Evan..." on the Title Page Together WITH a little Drawing - a semblance of a 'Scull and Cross Bones' - under his signature. No other Inscriptions or Marks. The dustjacket is now protected in a clear book plastic cover. Apart from the bumps to the top two corners as noted above - hardly noticable with the d/j in place - this is an EXCELLENT Clean, Tight and Bright Near 'AS New' copy. "Will and his brothers are on holiday in a cramped caravan on the wild Irish coast. All the boys love ghost stories, but one dark night Will's older brother, Marty, tells the bloodcurdling tale of the cutthroat pirate, Captain Crow. Will is scared. From that night on, everything starts to go wrong for Will. He is embarrassed, by a girl, at the local youth disco - The Sprat's Jig - and Marty convinces him that the ghost of the evil Captain Crow is out to get him. But Marty's tricks backfire, and for once Will has the last laugh." . See Images; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; Signed by Author .
