Josey was a prolific British journalist and publicist who eventually settled in Singapore and befriended its first prime minister, the subject of this book. He also eventually became Lee Kuan Yew's publicist and ghost writer. In this book he covers Lee's political career from his student days in Cambridge to 1970. Good Hardback in a Very Good Dust Jacket Reprint. First published in 1980. 630 pages. Weight: 1.2 kg Post free within Malaysia, but, due to its weight, this book is likely to incur additional postal charges when posted outside Malaysia The dust jacket has a few curls at the edges and a small tear in one corner. The cover edges have some heavy rubbing in places. The binding is tight, the text clear and there is mild tanning of the pages.
