Boston: Manning and Loring, 1808. 12mo; publisher's midnight blue paper-covered boards, black titling to upper cover printed within decorative rule, sadly rebacked with recent cloth tape; ix,[10]-131,[1]pp. Boards quite scuffed and black titling almost completely obscured by the dark blue of the paper, title page nearly separated, rather extensive underlining in a contemporary hand throughout, 20th century ownership rubberstamp to front pastedown. A Good only copy of an uncommon edition of lectures by the English Nonconformist Philip Doddridge (1702-1751). Final leaf of text features the publisher's advertisement for Dr. Stillman's Sermons and "A World without Souls.
