Folding map of the Punjab, black and white portait frontispiece and illustrations with tissue guards, edges, preliminaries and finals heavily foxed, some scattered foxing but text block is generally clean. Green cloth covered boards slightly flecked, spine decorated and lettered in gilt, top edge gilt. 350pp and 1 page of publisher's adverts. Prior owner's names on the front free endpaper. A good sturdy copy. 20 x 13cm. A biography of Henry Lawrence and his brother John Lawrence. .
