About This Item
Folio sheet (16" x 14 1/2"), printed with manuscript additions, signed, docketed on reverse, paper seal. Creased, a few small holes, mostly at folds, very slight effect on one word, some edgewear, a little browning and soiling; otherwise very good. This document appears to be a rental agreement for some land in Plattsburgh between Charles Platt and Thomas McCurdy. Charles Platt (1743-1824) is a member of the founding family of the town of Plattsburgh. While the document is mostly printed, there are six lines of hand written text describing the location of land involved with this transaction.
