Maroon boards w crisp gold lettering on spine. Mild bumping to top corners, no edgewear. Binding square and sound. Titled purple DJ is clean showing mild edgewear and surface scuffs on spine, extending to edge of front panel, perhaps from labels removed. DJ now preserved in BroDart cover. Octavo.
Michael Edwardes separates the facts from the myths built around the granting of independence to India and Pakistan at the close of the British Raj in 1947 through interviews with many of the protagonists and full access to historical documents.
