Boston: J.E. Tilton & Company, 1872. First Thus . Hardcover. First thus, very good in original green embossed cloth with black and gilt lettering and decoration on the front board. Front gutter is slightly cracked and signatures are just slightly loose. There is also some wear to cloth at spine ends and corners. Illustrations by Hammatt Billings all have tissue guards. All page edges are gilt. A separately published book which is one of twelve books of The Idylls of the King, Tennyson's epic poem about the Arthurian legend.
