Last Legends is a book of extraordinary descriptive depth , pure fantasy. Unlike any book sf I have ever read. Attanasio is not the most well known author but surely is at the height of his powers here. Elements of humanity and good and evil mix to tell a tale of huge breadth. I have been rereading it for years along with other classics such as The Dark Shore and the Shadow Eaters and never fail to find new details and meaning.Buy it or borrow it - just read it!
