Board cover has rubs bottom, dust jacket shows signs of wear with dings, nicks, tears etc. This is the story of the massacre of Shoshone Mike and his band of Indians in 1911. This event occurred 21 years after Wounded Knee, which had supposedly ended the Indian Wars. The Bannocks were a small tribe located in northern Nevada, they were massacred by a two groups of heavily armed to death with only four small children surviving. Loaded with B&W photos from the period. 263. pages
