Located in the jungles of South America lies Limbo, an area ruled by the Mistress of Limbo; a place where men and women are enslaved and where there is no hope of escape or rescue. Modesty Blaise becomes a captive in Limbo, and the Mistress has commanded a sacrifice to the gods .... and she has deemed that Modesty be that sacrifice!! Willie Garvin and Maude Tiller of British Intelligence work together in the seemingly hopeless battle for survival on the LAST DAY IN LIMBO.
Synopsis
Last Day in Limbo is the title of the eighth novel chronicling the adventures of crime lord-turned-secret agent Modesty Blaise. The novel was first published in 1976 and was written by Peter O'Donnell, who had created the character for a comic strip in the early 1960s. The book was first published in the United Kingdom by Souvenir Press.
