Colin Dexter". This is Dexter's first novel, rarely found in such excellent condition. This first appearance of Inspector Morse was first dramatised as a radio play by the BBC on Radio 4 in 1975 and was adapted for television in 1988 as part of the series Inspector Morse, first aired on 22 March 1988. Octavo. Original orange-brown boards, titles in black to spine, cream endpapers. With dust jacket. Minute dents to spine ends, binding otherwise sharp and unfaded, uniform toning to contents, else internally clean. A near-fine copy in near-fine jacket, slight creasing and water-staining along upper edge, unclipped, bright.
