Green cloth w black lettering to cover and spine. Light surface scuff to corners, head and tail. Small dents to covers. Binding square and sound. No DJ. Duodecimo: 198 x 143mm. First published in the US by Thomas Nelson, (1939), this is the first edition by The MacMillan Company of Canada, 1945. As told by Norbert Welsh (1845-1932), a Metis hunter and trader who lived through the end times of the buffalo and the early white settlement of the Canadian prairies.
