DJ: Very Good; NOT Price Clipped ($17.95); light shelfwear to head, tail, and tips; bumping and a small closed tear on the top of the front panel. Blue leatherette boards and spine with bright gilt lettering on the spine. 157 pp 8vo. The author spent most of his life in India and Pakistan fighting outlaw bands and other brigands as part of the British Army. In charge of Indian and Pakistani soldiers he helped keep peace and order in that part of the British Empire and even went with his men in light tanks in WWII to rout the Germans in Northern Italy. He was the founder of the Pakistani Military Academy after the war. Tis book is full of humor and incident sue to entertain those who enjoy reading about the last days of the Raj and its army. A clean very presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket.
