With brief sketches of their characters and careers, and noted contributions to stages of their time. Featuring forty-seven gravure plates and illustrated endpapers. Complete with the original dust wrapper, price-clipped. Hesketh Peterson was a British actor and director known as one of the commercial leading biographers of his time. In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally sound with generally minor shelf wear, slight bumping to the head and tail of the spine, minor faint damp marking to the boards. The dust wrapper is price-clipped and generally sound with some shelf wear and chipping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities of the wraps. Internally, firmly bound. Light spotting to the odd leaf, otherwise the pages are generally clean throughout. Featuring forty-seven gravure plates and illustrated endpapers. Very Good Indeed
