A large mounted albumen print c. 1880s of the back of a man with tattoo of ELIZABETHAN CHARACTERS. "Tatouage" written in ink on recto and various hand written notations on verso. Mount 10 1/2" x 8"; Print 6 1/2" x 5". Printed on semi-gloss paper. Good condition. Wear and browning along edges of mount, top right corner of mount is chipped, print has scattered indentations noticeable under specular light as seen in images.
