Very Good. 1955. Map. Linen backed map mounted on wooden dowels. Hanging strings are still intact. Created for the Office of the Quartermaster General by Harry E. Hoy with hydrography and culture by Phillip H. Allman, Jr. Prepared at the University of Oklahoma Research Center. Map measures approximately 38 X 38 inches. Overall in very good condition with some chipping and fraying to edges; slight toning to bottom 3 ½ inches; a few creases from folding. Scale is 300 miles to 5 inches. This topographic map of the Indian subcontinent shows mountains and waterways as well as man-made features such as railroads. .
