Garden City ,NY: Musson Book Company, 1912. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Fair. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. 440 pages. Front hinge starting, rear hinge cracked full length. Light shelf wear to edges and foot of spine. Signed & dated by previous owner, Cyril H. A. Ferrabee, tunnel named after him in the Fraser canyon. He did survey work on the Kettle Valley rail, and the Coquihalla route to the West. Served in the Westminster Regiment in WWI. Book depicts safari life in British East Africa hunting big game. S E White trekked to the Gauso Nyiro where he bagged lion, oryx, hartebeest and gazelle. Near the Tana river he hunted zebra, lion, rhinoceros, hippopotamus and buffalo.
