About This Item
1979 hardcover as pictured. A hard to find book, this is the result of a Tennesee Valley Authority history project undertaken from 1965 to 1968 regarding the area between the Tennessee River and Cumberland Rivers. The story is of a region that cuts across political lines so as to include portions of three counties and two states and that at the time of the Civil War was an international boundary. Binding is firm. Tan boards with brown stamping show only light wear. Owner's name on FFEP. Text appears clean and unmarked. Includes many b&w photographs, notes, an extensive index and bibliography. No dust jacket. We have a number of books on Kentucky history on offer. Please see our storefront for more information. Your purchase helps support our small village library. s AR
