London:: Thomas Palmer Lovell, 1856., 1856. 4to. 716 pp. Issues from July 5, 1856 to December 27, 1856. Modern half tan calf over marbled boards, gilt-stamped spine title. Bookplate and ink stamp of University College of North Wales, ink signature of H. J. Evans (Anglesey) on title-page, Fine. Various articles; of particular note, this volume contains: The Fever at the Clergy Orphan Asylum, pp. 617-19, and Intestinal Fever: Its Mode of Propagation, pp. 694-5, both by William Budd. There is also an article by James Campbell (of Glasgow) reporting two cases of accidental poisoning by strychnine, which was then used as a tonic medication. There is also a series of articles (with illustrations) by W. Tyler Smith on the theory and practice of obstetrics.
