London: Longman, Brown, Green and Longmans, 1854. Leather. Very Good. 7" by 5". None. A mid-nineteeth century edition of Moore's Lalla Rookh in a decorative calf binding. Bound in calf with gilt lettering and decoration. With the armorial bookplate of J. B. Hardy to the front pastedown, with his ink signature to the title page. Bound in calf with gilt lettering and decoration. There is only mild wear to the extremities, with just mild rubbing and edge wear, with small discloured marks. The binding is tight and firm. The front inner hinge is very slightly strained. Internally the pages have slight browning and light marks with the occasional spot. Very Good

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
