London; John Lane The Bodley Head, 1910., 1910. Hard Cover. FIRST EDITION. Octavo, pp. xix, [1], 334, [22] catalogue. 80 photographic illustrations to 47 plates, including frontispiece. Publishers' salmon pink cloth, with gilt titles and decoration to spine an upper board; top edge gilt. Cover cloth soiled; moderately sunned spine with wear at tips. Scattered foxing throughout, with printed pictorial prize plate for the Duke's School at Alnwick to front paste-down, inscribed in 1919. A Good copy. Big Game shooting in Africa with Introduction by Winston Churchill. Dickinson accompanied Churchill on shooting expeditions whilst Churchill was Under Secretary of State for the African Colonies, at Churchill's request due to Dickinson's formidable reputation as a hunter.
