NY: Longacre, 1929. Signed by Ms. Lupe on the second free endpaper. Bound in blue cloth and printed boards. Loaded with photos from the film (an early "talkie"). This film tells the story of a girl (played by Lupe Velez) who is betrothed to a German diplomat in Paris. When he discovers that she has been unfaithful, he tells her he would rather marry a woman of the streets. She devises a plan to pose as such a girl. The male lead is William Boyd (of Cowboy fame). 36 pp. Bound by original blue cord. Art Deco styling. . Signed by Female Lead. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good +/No Jacket - As Published. Illus. by Photo-Illustrated. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
