New York: Clark & Austin, 1848. Title page dated 1848. Fair to good in tan cloth lettered and decorated in gilt and in blind, all edges gilt, 6" tall, 155 pages. Covers a little spotted with some chiping to the spine, front cover faded and with a minor bend to it probably caused by something sitting unevenly atop it for some time, good hinges, sound text block, lovely color illustrated illustration of a woman emerging from a marsh affixed inside front cover (not original to book), no names or other markings.. Hard Cover. Fair. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.
