Pp. viii, 357, (1) Errata; iv, 292; v, 480. HARDCOVER, uniformly bound in contemporary half cloth and marbled boards, spines faded, one broken spine reattached, extremities rubbed, first free endpaper of one volume frayed. Old shelf ticket to spine, old military institutional stamps to title-page. Solid though fair bindings over interiors which are rather fine, neat and clean. [AND:] II. Atlas: Comprising of 64 lithographic maps printed on 57 folding sheets, and 5 semitransparent folding map-overlays printed in red, all numbered and captioned in large letterpress, all placed in portfolio of half cloth and marbled boards with 3 pairs of ties, manuscript lettering-piece in neat contemporary hand on cover. In a very good condition. ~ FIRST EDITION. Very rare complete set which includes the Atlas of maps, fully collated for completeness and condition. 005-00
