About This Item
Berlin, Germany: Deutscher Kunstverlag. Fair with no dust jacket. 1930. First Edition. Hardcover. This book, withdrawn from a library, is completely disbound. The boards are present, but the book is completely detached, and the spine is missing. However, the textblock itself is sound and in quite good condition, and the book could easily be rebound. Six foldout charts are included loose. These show how some aspect of dress (bodice, sleeves, headwear, etc.) changed over the time unit the book details (1600-1660). Some of the charts are in excellent condition and others are starting to crumble a bit and should be handled with care. However, none is in poor shape. Altogether, this looks like a very valuable archive. Text in German. The book is housed in a plastic sleeve.; Ex-library .
