J.B. Lippincott, 1904. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1904. First Edition. Unpaginated. No dust jacket. Grey cloth illustrative boards with gilt lettering to spine and front. Black and white illustrations & Colour illustrative plates throughout by Frederic J. Von Rapp. Binding remains firm. Crinkling to pages at gutters. Pages remain bright and clear with minimal tanning. Thumb marking present. Previous owner's inscription to frontispiece reverse side. Front endpaper is missing. Hinges are cracked with netting exposed. Boards have mild edge wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. There is bumping to corners and crushing to spine ends. Tanning to spine and edges causing discolouration. Boards are bowed. Book has a slight forward lean.
