Reviews
On Jul 4 2016, Jef Kay said:
This book is the latest one in the series of novels about Richard and Adam Bolitho. They are about the naval battles in the 18th and 19th centuries, very similar to the Hornblower books by C.S. Forester but even more authentic as the author served in the Royal Navy during World War 2 and became commodore of a yatching club. I regard Alexander Kent (real name Douglas Reeman) as the greatest ever writer of fiction, as his descriptions of character, naval action, places and weather are absolutely outstanding.
