2 Volumes, the 1st one is 269 Pages and the second is 296 Pages. As stated in both: Of the Limited Edition of Alphonse Daudetone thousand copies have been printed for America. This copy is Number 427.
These two volumes of Daudet's classic works come in red boards with the title etc. information glued on the top of the spine. The exterior of the first volume has lightly worn areas on all four corners and more worn areas at the top and bottom of its spine, faded and stained areas of the spine and along the left edge of the spine/right edge of the rear cover, wearing areas along its bottom edge, and wearing on the front cover with an ink stain area on its bottom right corner. Volume II's exterior has worn marks on all four corners, more worn areas at the top and bottom of the spine, faded and stained areas on the spine itself and the right edge of the rear cover/left edge of the spine, wearing marks along the bottom edges and finally a small ink spot on the top left corner of the rear cover. The guilt top edges of the closed books are both in a well-preserved condition. The interior of both volumes have no visible extraneous markings or other distractions throughout either of them, thus all printing and illustrations are well-preserved and hence in a very enjoyable and readable condition.
