This edition limited to 500 copies, of which this is copy 384, signed by both editors: Peter Monteith and Bert Vaux on the title page. Some shelf wear to the jacket. Saltmarsh's unfished but extensive study of King's College Chapel, one of the most important late medieval buildings in England. Saltmarsh began the work in the 1950s and had still not finished by his death in 1974. It was finally published in the present volume. A meticulously researched work of interest to social and architectural historians.
