London, printed for Robert Bostock, dwelling in Pauls Church-Yard, at the Signe of the Kings-Head, 1645.. 2 PAMPHLETS BOUND TOGETHER. 1, THE KINGS CABINET OPENED, or, certain packets of secret letters & papers, written with the Kings own hand, and taken in his cabinet at Nasby-Field, June 14.1645. By victorious Sr. Thomas Fairfax; vvherein many mysteries of state, tending to the iustification of that cause, for which Sir Thom. Fairfax joyned battell that memorable day are clearly laid open. Together, with some annotations thereupon (by H. Parker). Published by speciall order of the Parliament. Pages: [8], 1-56, first leaf A1 is a blank, signatures: A-H4, lacks the errata leaf as often, stated by Madan as very rare. Small neat early old ink note to margin with some underlining to pages 7 & 28, (see attached image), shallow creasing to pages, pale age-browning to last page, small pale spot to title page and last 2 pages, otherwise a very good copy. No Roman numbering or Errata, cypher codes to first 8 pages and several pages later on. Bound with 2, THE DYING SPEECHES, LETTERS and PRAYERS &c. of those eminent Protestants who suffered in the West of England, (and elsewhere,) under the cruel sentence of the late Lord Chancellour, then Lord Chief Justice Jefferys (also known as the hanging judge), with an account of their undaunted courage at the barr, and afterwards; and the most remarkable circumstances that attended their execution. Never before published. Attributed by Wing to John Tutchin. London, printed for John Dunton, at the Black Raven in the Poultrey, over against the Compter; and are to be sold by R. Janeway in Queens-head-Alley in Pater-noster-row, 1689. Pages: [4], 1-20, 25-40, advertisment at foot of last page, jump in pagination in all copies, signatures: A-B², C-F4, pale age-browning throughout, title page and last page dusty with small pale ink stains to margins, stab holes visible in inner margins. Both pamphlets small 4to, approximately 195 x 145 mm, 7½ x 5½ inches, bound together in full calf, blind rules and decoration to spine and covers, blind lettering to upper cover: Rare Historical Tracts, London 1645-89, engraved bookplate to first pastedown (Henry A.
