This book tells the story of the uncovering of Africa's past and summarises the extent of and knowledge to date from the first farmers and potters of 6000 BC to the establishment of the more stable kingdoms by 1500 AD. Rubbing of the book corners and softening and rubbing of the back strip edges. Very light age toning of the text block edges. Offset tanning and foxing of the end pages with a few foxing splotches to the pages. Rubbing of the book edges and panels with some staining to the front panel.
