About This Item
Blue pictorial wraps sewn to text block with three-hole tied string. Wraps are fragile, age toned with chips, closed tears but not affecting interior text block. Part of the Golden Classics series of 1909. Originally published in 1851, Ruskin wrote the fable for his future wife when she was twelve. Though not indicated in this edition, illustrations are by Richard Doyle.
