About This Item

Matthews examines the convergence of the story of the heroic, godlike Arthur and the quest of the mystic object of the Holy Grail. The book ranges far and wide, from city and temple, through knights and monks, Camelot to Carbonek. He shows how the twin themes of Arthur and the search for the Grail have become intertwined down the ages.

The book is in excellent condition. Pages are clean, bright and unmarked, with the very slightest dusty spotting at the top edge though not visible when reading. Cloth boards clean and tight. DJ is excellent: unclipped, unmarked and uncreased. A wealth of colour and black and B&W illustrations including some specifically created for the book. A comprehensive bibliography..All now protected in professional clear book wrapper. 159pp
