Published by New York review, distributed by Vintage Books, New York, 1970. First Edition. Softcover. Very Good Condition. Introduction by Senator Stephen Young of Ohio and four appendices. Plain text paperback binding with black and white coloured titles to the front panel and black coloured titles to the backstrip. On May 4th, 1970, the National Guard at Kent State University in Ohio open fired on unarmed college students, protesting against the bombing of Cambodia by the US Air Force, killing 4 and wounding 10. In this book the author looks at that event, and publishes, for the first time, the Justice Department's secret summary of the FBI findings on the interviews of the National Guard members  which the Ohio authorities disregarded. Rubbing of the book edges and panels with a small black stain to the top right-hand corner of the front panel. Some minor erosion to the front edge of the front panel and there was a small split to the top edge of the same panel. Uniform tanning of the text block edges and pages.
