Cherry. 8vo (8.5" x 5.5") 14th place, 1986 Locus Poll Award. March 1986 book club reprint of DAW January 1986 mass paperback. The first edition was a 1985 limited edition by Phantasia Press. Third in series, preceded by The Pride of Chanur, and Chanur's Venture; and followed by Chanur's Homecoming, and Chanur's Legacy. Set in the author's Union-Alliance Universe.
Synopsis
The Chanur novels is a series of five science fiction novels (forming three separate stories) written by science fiction and fantasy author C. J. Cherryh and published by DAW Books between 1981 and 1992. The first novel in the series is The Pride of Chanur (1981), which was nominated for both the Hugo and Locus Awards in 1983.
