About This Item
Chicago: Judy Publishing Company, 1934 Book. Illus. by Bert Hanor. Near Fine. Hardcover. Third Edition Stated. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Original green cloth on boards. Unclipped DJ has small nicks at head and foot of spine. Previous owner's name. Otherwise, no writing. This book is intended for anyone who has a dog who wants to provide safe and comfortable housing for it. Photos and drawings show large-scale and small-scale approaches, from an individual house to multi-room setups with attached, fenced pens. A nice touch is the fact that the author doesn't talk down to anyone whether he or she needs inexpensive shelter for a single animal or a castle for dozens of dogs. 59 pp. plus ads..
