The Typophiles , 1952 . Hardback. . 32mo brown cloth with gilt lettering to spine. Embossed diamond pattern on boards with letters 'K D & A' in corners. Title page illustration with red/black lettering and red margin titles for each section. Binding by J F Tapley Company. The picture on the listing page is of the actual book for sale. VG++ hardback, (light edgewear, clean and unmarked). With bookplate 'Ex Libris Fridolf Johnson' (author, illustrator, calligrapher a collector of bookplates). Blank space in bookplate signed Ward Ritchie the designer of this volume. Pencilled 1/500 written on front free endpaper indicating that this is the first of a print run of 500 (although it is stated that there were only 400 copies issued for The Typophiles).
