First edition of this scarce Sampson Low adventure about the experiences of an Scot-Irish man who emigrates to Canada, becomes a tramp on the rails, a bootlegger running liquor into New York, a gangster, a card sharp on the Pacific and Atlantic steamship lines, shanghaied in Tahiti to Australia, and finally finds himself in the middle of the Spanish Civil War. The photo illustrations include those of New York City motorcycle policemen, U.S. Air Prohibition Officers in front of their plane, and more. Exceedingly scarce in original dustjacket.
