About This Item
Hildburghausen: Ferd. Kesselringsche Verlagshandlung, 1852. First Edition. Paper pastedown, hardcover. Very Good Minus. Scarce, with only one copy found on OCLC FirstSearch at the Universitat Gottingen, and not listed in Wegehaupt. 8vo. 19 by 14 cm. 34 pp. 10 chromolithographic plates, including title page. The vignettes on the plates reek of the grisly and violent, as common among fairy tales and juvenile puppet theater. Foxing to the text pages, as to be expected given acidic paper. Plates are mounted unto blue card, and these leaves are generally cleaner.
