New York; (1962): Harry N. Abrams, 1962. First Edition. Thick Quarto. 178pp. illustrated by Karel Appel. A mixed bag of hand-mounted color plates, facsimiles of holograph notes, poems, and sketches. Foreword by Herbert Read. Bound with a black cloth spine lettered in white over color pictorial paper covered boards,edges rubbed with one corner only lightly bumped in the original acetate wrapper with one large chip, and laid-in is a 3 page "to the reader" by author. The latter is usually missing. A very good copy.
