Sydney. 1992. 4to, IX, 304pp. Laminated illustrated hardcover boards with distinctive emu artwork below a white on blue title and with a firm spine on the large heavy textblock in excellent condition plus a d/w of the same design and quality now protected in clear archival covering, illustrations and interwoven text on highest quality semi-gloss artpaper are devoid of foxing or damage or prior owner markings with stunning undamaged artistic endpapers incorporating a map of Arnhem Land. Text throughout is in a neat cursive hand-written font of varying colours that is nevertheless very legible and the entire structure and layoiut of this momentous volume is an artwork in itself, a joy to explore in fact. It is a truly unique publication and it represents the fruition of many years of travel and study in the northern wilderness of Australia.
