Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Overall a good condition item. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and sunning.

Boston: Little, Brown and Company. Black cloth with teal lettering. Nice bright, strong and square binding with very little wear. Previous owner's bookplate on the front pastedown. No markings. Dust jacket (in mylar sleeve) with some surface loss over the "Of" on the front cover, nicked at the corner tips, creased at the spine tip with a tear and crease at the bottom right corner of the back. . Very Good. Hardcover. 1st Edition. 1932.

An ex-library book with the pocket on the back paste down and two stamps. Wear to the spine end and corners with a spine break along the back paste down, frontispiece of 'Kabluk of the Eskimo' with 15 illustrations / photographs through the book. Overall in Very Good condition. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 273 pages .

Hutchinson's Booklover's Library. Very Good/Poor. Undated, circa 1930's. There is a previous owner's dated inscription (1935). The jacket consists of a partial spine, the front cover and front flap, the back cover and back flap are missing. The top 3cm of the spine is chipped and bottom 2.5cm of the heel. The front of the jacket is bright and whole. The jacket is worn, torn and creased, but it is now protected in cellophane. The binding is solid.. London: Hutchinson & Co, 1932. Third Impression. Black Boards. Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Illustrated. 256pp. A charming copy of this first edition. No wrapper. Illustrated with 16 full page b/w photographic plates as called for, including a frontispiece plate. Gilt embossed lettering to the spine. Bump to the tail of the spine and the cloth at the head of the spine is a little turned in. Two corners are lightly bumped and two are lightly rubbed. There are a couple of areas of rubbing to the rear paste down measuring about 3 cm x 3 cm and one area to the front paste down measuring 2 cm x 2.5 cm . Scattered light foxing, most noticeabl to the fore edges. Clean and tight. A very good copy.
