In a full calf binding. Externally, generally smart. Light surface cracks to the spines. Minor marks to the boards and spines. A little wear to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Faint ringmark to the front board of Volume II. Very small hole to the spine of Volume II. Marks to the boards of Volumes III and IV. Prior owner's pencil inscription to the recto to the front endpaper of Volume I. Small tidemark to the front endpaper of Volume IV. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned and clean. Small worm hole to the tail of pages of Volume I, not affecting text. Light tidemark to the last few pages of Volume II, and a small wormhole to the second half of text to the tail, not affecting text. Small wormhole to the last few pages of Volume IV. Very Good
