Includes Vol. 1: Fairy and Wonder Tales; Vol. 2: Folk Tales and Myths; Vol. 3: Tales From Greece and Rome; Vol. 4: Heroes and Heroines of Chivalry; Vol. 5: Stories That Never Grow Old; Vol. 6: Old-Fashioned Tales; Vol. 7: Stories of Courage and Heroism; Vol. 8: Animal and Nature Stories; Vol. 9: Stories of To-Day and Vol. 10: Poems Old and New. Red cloth bindings with decorations in black and gilt. Gilt top edge. Each volume has a color frontispiece with tissueguard, several black and white illustrations within. Most books are clean and in good condition; Vol. 3 shows heavy edgewear to front cover, a bit to the spine; Vol. 8 shows some loss to lower spine. Pages browned, some spotting to edges. Each book measures 5.5 x 8 inches.. Hard Cover. Good. Illus. by Illustrated.
